not a bad half of football
Some mistakes and lost opportunities but overall good effort. Keep the ball away from them in the second half and this one should finish alright.

Not bad at all. I'm not totally displeased that we have held with them and gotten some good breaks. Need to convert the field goals, though.

Yep. I think anyone watching this would not believe our record against the competition we have faced this year. I am happy with the effort. I am afraid they might out last us though and pull away in the fourth. We have no depth and are fighting a huge size disadvantage.

Re: not a bad half of football
One thing I will comment on the positive side-App looked prepared for the game, especially the first few drives. For all the talk of the coaches being in over their heads, I believe they are coming around. It hasn't all been perfect, but nothing ever is. The team is still playing hard and is showing signs of improvement in all facets - we even recognized the fake punt! No matter what the final score shows, I'm moderately pleased at this point, even though UGA just scored.
Give 'em hell!

Still competing. Nice throw and catch at the end of the third. As long as we can get a few first downs even if we don't score again it won't get too ugly.

It's still our job to stop them.ASU-FTW wrote:UGA douchebags throwing touchdown passes in the fourth quarter.

Okay, for the first time Steve Brown is getting on my nerves. Give a rest. This will end up being a crush but by all accounts better than anyone expected. Stop ragging on them for sloppy play.

"TD passes in the 4th quarter" with back ups and we still have to stop them. No issue here from me.BeauFoster wrote:It's still our job to stop them.ASU-FTW wrote:UGA douchebags throwing touchdown passes in the fourth quarter.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Re: not a bad half of football
Counts is going to get one of our QB's killed. That's at least 4 times he's completely missed the block. Has happened several times a game this year. Unless he makes a huge leap this offseason he will not even be on the two deep next year.

Give me a break. Their players are far better than ours. We can't stop them and they know it. Even now they are running a hurry up offense and throwing it with the game well in hand. He's certainly shown to be a weak link on the line this season. If I'm a recruiter, I'm looking hard at that position.firemoose wrote:Counts is going to get one of our QB killed. Re: not a bad half of football
The kids on the field for Georgia don't get to play alot during the season and some of them will be counted on through attrition. To send a kid a practice squad player on the field to lay down is classless. It is our defenses job to stop them. Let them run their plays. Our kids need the reps as well.

You're right 45-6 three minutes and they are still throwing deep and hurry up offense. Going for it on fourth. Bunch of phuckers. At least Law picked it.ASU-FTW wrote:Give me a break.
