If a Mount Rushmore of App State Football was placed on Howard's Knob, would would be on it?

I'll start...

I graduated in 2007, so I didn't get a chance to see some of the older legends.

1. Armanti Edwards
2. Dexter Coakley
3. Richie Williams
4. Kevin Richardson

Insanely hard to keep Corey Lynch, John Settle, Dino Hackett, etc off the list. Interested to see everyone else's thoughts.

The Mount Rushmore lists I have seen were not limited to players, so,,,,

1. Jerry Moore
2. Armanti Edwards
3. Corey Lynch
4. Dexter Coakley

Lil' Rushmore- 2nd team
1. Dino Hackett
2. Jason Hunter
3. Kevin Richardson
4. Larry Hand

I think I have seen this before , but it is the off season so it can't hurt to go through it again.
I think 1 & 2 have to be Edwards and Coakley. 2 time national awards for both. Not to mention the stats , rings etc.

If coaches are allowed Coach Moore should be there, but I will stick with players.

3 & 4 could go to so many deserving players but I pick John Settle and Corey Lynch.
I know K Rich had more yards but I graduated in 89 and saw Settle play. I wouldn't object to Richardson over Settle just my preference. I don't think Corey was the best defensive player but just the plays he made during the Championship runs put him in for me.

I'm pretty comfortable with coach Moore, A.E. and Settle as three for sure. But I'm conflicted in picking my 4th. I wonder if Gutzen Borglum had the same struggle before deciding on Teddy Roosevelt for his 4th. lol

I was going to throw in Robbie Price along with Gil Beck, Joe Parker, Emmitt Hamilton and Calvin Simon for consideration. These guys led us to what I think is the greatest season in ASU history. Wins over South Carolina, Wake and ECU when there was no subdivision in D1.

I don't see how John Settle could be left off anyone's list. He made All-Pro his first year in the NFL. Have we had anybody else to do that?

I would say you have to include Gorton's Fisherman Yosef, just because he's the only one whose face is already carved on the side of a mountain.

I would have to go with AE, Dexter and Coach Moore for 3 of them. Not sure who the 4th would be. Maybe Settle or Richardson or Williams.
