Getting GSU may actually help out this year and getting ULM and Idaho later give those game a highly likelihood of being wins.

Having USA earlier does the opposite.

Really hate we have a home game the weekend of Thanksgiving.

Three home games in November and only one in September. That won't likely help with attendance.

USA is the best team we will face at home, that coupled with more Nov games will cause attendance to drop. Next years home schedule opponent wise will be the best I've seen in my lifetime.

As for the game Thanksgiving weekend-welcome to the big time. Almost every team in FBS plays that day. in the past, the excuse for poor attendance has always been that its short notice. This year it wont be; its part of the season ticket package. I have always been there and will be there this year.

I see good and bad. 4 out of 5 homestretch with a Troy trip mixed in. Need a good October- That's for sure.

Nearly half our schedule is played in the month of November and half our home schedule is played then. A poor start could definitely influence the season's attendance. I'm really looking forward to the season and the challenge that the FBS brings but, the way the schedule lays out isn't ideal.

Of course, it is what it is and we have to make the best of it. It will be fun seeing new rivalries develop and welcoming new opponents to Boone.

It's not the playoffs which nobody cares about, so the place should be packed. Long weekend with better competition. Plenty of advance notice. FBS bowl consequences. Thanksgiving weekend every year should be a sellout.

Student attendence will suck that game, but alums will probably show up in their normal force. I predict 25k+ with a piss poor atmosphere Thanksgiving weekend.
