ODU Turns Down 1.3M Alabama Nat. Game to Keep App +NCState

Seems ODU turned down a 1.3 million dollar offer from Alabama to play a nationally televised football game to keep it's home schedule set for 2015, including home games with App State, NC State and Norfolk State.

More likely to have been cancelled was either NC State or Norfolk State, but they could have tried to move things around.

That or ODU doesn't want to get taken to the woodshed on national TV.

1.3 million is not bad work for 55 minute games.

Seems they're not willing to sell out and are looking to establish regional rivalries for the future with formidable programs

If we had a home game vs an ACC opponent we wouldn't cancel it for that kind of check either.

When it happens the impact on season tickets will be worth it.
