We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Flatter than flat. That is 100% on the staff. The clowns suspending two players says to the team we are too good to lose. I frowned on it last week and did not see this fifth negative impact. A conference title was not our first priority. The staff chose revenge, shame on them.

Re: Did not see this happening today!
Finally got the feeds back and hear it is halftime 38-7 only the Citadel is in the lead?
Don't understand. 400 + yards in the first half?
A - They should be playing in the SEC or are the best team in FCS right now
B - We are grossly over rated
C - We figured we didn't need to prepare at all for this game.
D- B & C
Character test in the second half.

I think they just have our number today. It happens sometimes, and credit to The Citadel.AppGrad1 wrote:More of just a butt whooping than a letdown of montana imo

I apologize to the poster that has been unimpressed with the play calling thus far. Your assessment was verified today. Unbelievably poor effort all around.

Glad I didn't propmise I would eat my hat if Citadel wonebapps1 wrote:This is a complete and total embarrassment, looks like the team was content with beating Montana.

I'll stay positive and say this is a characteristic of a young team having a letdown.
Hard to believe The Citadel has talent better than APP and improved this much from last year

They just kicked our arses big time, considering they beat 2 of the favorites The Gnat Swarm and stomped us, I'm about ready to mail them part of The SmallCon Championship Trophy.

I guess SS forgot that we were behind and didn't try to force the ball downfield at opportune times, BUT WE REALLY MISSED PRICE TODAY to help in those situations.ASUMountaineer wrote:I apologize to the poster that has been unimpressed with the play calling thus far. Also, the way were stopping them did not matter, OLE'

Just wondering, who has the pitch man & outside containment? Most of the time we got caught in no mans land.

Re: Did not see this happening today!
Play calling was not the issue, defense got fudging manhandled. In fact, all day long, The Citadel was bigger, faster and stronger and that's all that really matters. Bigger, faster, stronger always wins.

Re: Did not see this happening today!
Such a pitiful performance all around that it's almost funny -- but not quite.
Play calling was an absolute joke, defense must have been eating hamburgers in the locker room cause they sure never showed up on the field, coaches need to write an apology to fans that paid money for a ticket, and the team captains need to write a separate apology letter to the students.
Worst ASU beat down I've seen in KBS in a long long long time.

Re: Did not see this happening today!
Is it possible that JJ isn't 100% (scary thought if he is hurt and still the best option). I have been trying to figure out why we did not try to stretch the field more than the two times. I know Price was not there but he's only one player and we still had Jones and Sumler to stretch the field and Washington and Peacock to work the middle but yet we were only throwing glorified running plays in the short, across the middle, passes. I know JJ has had the stuffing hit out of him in the past couple of weeks and I know I'm reaching but unless JM has final approval on playcalling I just don't understand why we didn't put it up, especially after we got down by 4 scores. Miller was running well enought to keep them honest but yet we didn't throw it long. It just doesn't make sense.

Many times it was Patrick Blalock. He had a very poor game.AppGrad1 wrote:Just wondering, who has the pitch man & outside containment? Most of the time we got caught in no mans land.
