App State’s vaunted defense offered little more resistance than a scout team might. The Bulldogs racked up 618 yards — their most ever in a regulation game —

Wow. Just wow. I really don't understand where this performance came from against a team we've beaten 17 out of the last 18. I know they are improved, but not THAT much improved. 52-7 at one point. Good gracious. We've never been beaten like that at The Rock. Maybe the Montana hangover was much bigger than it should've been. Back to the drawing board.

The last time the Citadel beat us was 2003.

"App State (1-2, 0-1) looked sluggish and ill-prepared"

Did they say, ill-prepared?

Think he may have meant we prepared while sick due to symptoms of a common cold ;)

This quote should be printed in bold letters and posted in the locker room. The implosion we saw Saturday must never be forgotten in order that it never be repeated.

That and the QB's comment about how it felt like practice. Sadly, he's probably right.

NC State better get ready...especially after having their way with South Alabama. They may be looking at schedule and thinking - FCS game, breeze. Of course, El Cid will probably pull a Wake Forest and lose 52-0.
