Library Deck Tailgating

Just curious as I'm shifting my tailgating to the library deck this week. Anyone currently parking/tailgating in there and can offer advice as to how early I should arrive to avoid bad traffic going into the deck?

PBR parks up top. If he sees this, which he will, he can answer you. I would tell you to get there early and hang out up top. It's fun up there.

Normally, you need to get there early to get a spot, however, this past week the Library Deck was probably just over 50% full. This week is Homecoming, so King Street will be closed for the parade. You'll need to get there very early or wait until after the parade.

Thank you both! I'm coming from Fleetwood and have always timed it just perfectly so I sit, and sit, and wait in traffic for the parade. I'm thinking of coming late this year so I won't get there until 11 or 11:30.

I'm thinking with the impending weather, up top might get a little damp, but we shall see.

Yeah, I just looked and they are calling for rain and thunder storms....it's still early and the weather will/might change

We regularly tailgate at the top of the LIBERRY Deck with PBR/John/Beer Hat Guy.....or of late he tailgates with us as he is still paying for his trip to Montana last year. He does have "other" good reasons to come late!

Arriving any earlier than say 10-11 unless you are really hard core is pretty fruitless. Spaces really start to fill up a couple of hours before gametime unlike this past weekend when the top two tiers never really filled up.

You are welcome to come visit and partake of the wears we will have. It is going to be Que, (Western) and the accouterments.

There are 40-50 folks that tailgate in the "area" with us as we have grown from 2 "families" to now 6-8. Plus all the college kids who come up to partake of the food.

I am Chip, I will be up there, stop by and ask for Greg, Eilene, Drew, Daniel, Clif, or if you are LATE, ask for BHG.

You will be welcomed with open arms!

Just bring a win up the mountain with you!

Sounds great! We'll be up there around 11 or so, and there's 4 of us total. In a nice, big silver Ridgeline covered in App gear. Will gladly pitch in for food or beverages.
