That's a pretty good article. I take it as a compliment that Elon focuses on us so much. In general, when other teams / programs list you as a "rival" it is their acknowledgement of respect. I do find it very interesting that the article says they they will be playing "a more conventional" offense as they face our spread after facing two triple option teams in a row (paraphrase). It's funny how the spread is now seen as "conventional" but then, after the play calling the past couple of seasons, I can't really argue. Hopefully Satterfield will keep the ball rolling with the great strategy and play calling today and they'll leaving wondering what the heck happened!

GO APPS!!!

I live here - they would rather beat APP than anything imaginable in football - A good friend and Elon staff member took me on a tour last year of their new facility - it was nice, by the way - I even pointed it out to him - on the wall in their weightroom was a big countdown sign - It said something to the effect - APPALACHIAN STATE --- 42 DAYS
Not another sign about that week's opponent or anything ---
APP IS the program everyone else wants to be ---

"But after back-to-back games combating the tricky triple option, at least Elon’s defenders gain some measure of relief Saturday in facing a more conventional system."

Relief? Ha We'll see.
