I am disappoint.

And you stay to the end regardless. Wish I could clone another 10,000 of you for game days.DaphneUrquhart wrote:When I'm at a game, I don't spend time during the game doing anything other than watching the game.
I had a few people turn and stare at me when I screamed "SHUT THE HELL UP, THEY'RE ON OFFENSE" in the fourth quarter.DaphneUrquhart wrote:About the only thing that ticked me off today was the goobers in front of me who thought they were supposed to cheer loudly when we were on offense. Ugh!
Agree with you. Not sure if we are getting apathetic, disinterested or if it everyone just hasn;t found the new board yet. But even the game chat was light today. Not many in there. I thought maybe becasue of homecoming as home games are usually not that active.RankinApp wrote:Eh, it's still something for those of us at the game to read back at home. Plenty of other fan boards manage to have chats and 20+ page long game threads as did the old board. Ah well..
As I typed my response I was thinking the same and figured someone would respond back as such. Most everyone was at the game that frequents MMB I bet. I was at my highschool cleaning up from a bunch of labs and left school at halftime. I don't know how many were on chat during the 1st half, but in the 2nd half we never had more than 4 or 5 in chat at one time. One of these was the friendly wiu fan, and another was apptiger, who is in LSU land I do believe. I bet most everyone else was at KBS, which is better than a chat or board thread.RankinApp wrote:Eh, it's still something for those of us at the game to read back at home. "Chatting" is all about the demographics I guess. If I am at a game, I usually strike up a conversation with a neighbor, so this is no different. It does add to a sense of community. I put the video on one side of the monitor and the chat window on the other side. If chat is not all that active I watch the game in full screen.WVAPPeer wrote:If I am not at the game I am listening and/or watching - I'm an old head and could give a sh&*t about "chatting" during the game - Just one perspective - I must add, I have never "chatted" about anything --- maybe I'm not the right "target market" ---![]()

you are correct - I didn't define chatting properly - I guess I should say "technical chatting" - hell my fingers ache so badly I hate even have to text someone -McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:"Chatting" is all about the demographics I guess. I had a hilarious response to your post typed and was proofreading it and our power went out. I am so mad right now I can't stand it. Oh well, I'll try to hit the highlights and hope you'll take it in the way it was intended. Yes, it is a joke.WVAPPeer wrote:If I am not at the game I am listening and/or watching - I'm an old head and could give a sh&*t about "chatting" during the game - Just one perspective - I must add, I have never "chatted" about anything --- maybe I'm not the right "target market" ---![]()

I agree. Maybe some just did not bother to register. Some may have registered, but took it as a good as time as any to devote their energy and time to other things.fjblair wrote:Nothing wrong with chat but this board does not have the level of discussion and analysis that existed on the Delphi board. The above 'quote' is the biggest thing I do not like about this format, I have trouble figuring who a post is replying to (like the delphi board said in response to ***) and dislike having to scroll through all the 'quotes'. I never did reply that much but do reply less now for that reason.fjblair wrote:Nothing wrong with chat but this board does not have the level of discussion and analysis that existed on the Delphi board.
