Blair Ranked #99 on ESPN Draft List
Blair sneaks in at #99. Wishing all the best for the guy on draft day! Where do you think/hope he may end up?

No clue...just hope it's not Cleveland or Jacksonville. Best guess is Detroit St Louis and if he falls to the Later rounds Carolina.

Atlanta could use him based on his pass rush ability and the fact that they have little other than Beasley.

Re: Blair Ranked #99 on ESPN Draft List
It would be incredibly difficult to correctly pick which team picks him up. Simply because some want him as an interior lineman and some want to keep him as a pass rusher on the outside. As a Panthers fan I'd love it but I don't see Blair as a Gettleman type of player. He likes the prototypical NFL size in his players, which Blair lacks (mainly in arm length).
I'll take a stab at who may grab him though, just for fun. I'll say Houston at pick 85. If not there, I say no later than the Cowboys at pick 101 in the forth round.

Detroit at 95, I think they were showing him a lot of interest at pro day

I would love to see Blair playing for the Falcons. They desperately need and end rusher so he could make an immediate impact.

Re: Blair Ranked #99 on ESPN Draft List
The big question mark teams will have is about his height (6'2"), ability to pass rush and knock down passes. His weight fluctuation (270 in the fall to 284 at the combine back down to 278 at pro day) might also be a question mark since he wasn't as fast with the extra bulk at the combine.
We know how good he is tackling in space, exploding off the snap, going lateral to chase a ball carrier plus his football IQ. His best two games were against Clemson and Georgia Southern.
The scouts are split on him. Some have him from around the 100-125 overall range, some have him top 50. Third round seems most likely. Anything after would be a disappointment.

Said the same thing about Kilgore's arm length........ BUT with Blair's strength and 1st three steps he will develop into a very good DE.

I am a huge Panther fan and was cautiously optimistic when they drafted Armanti. While I was happy for our guy I knew it was going to be a long shot for him to transition and felt bad for him when he was mentioned with the dreaded "B" word. I think that RB has a lot of potential and I hope he makes it and has a nice career. That being said I would hate to see him drafted by the Panthers in the 3rd round then fail to make the team. They are pretty set with DE's.

Re: Blair Ranked #99 on ESPN Draft List
Panthers are going to draft a DE somewhere. And Blair is going to make a roster somewhere.
In the past I'd have been excited at the prospect of him going to Charlotte. Now I just want him to go somewhere he can succeed.
