How come Zack hasn't signed a UDFA contract????

He'll hopefully get a shot at the CFL.

Even with the great average coming into the bowl game last season, that average came from a very small sample size compared to other kickers in college. Unfortunately, a career 68% FG percentage isn't enough to gain NFL interest.

I wish him all the luck in the future though.

Kickers are a dime a dozen....He will have to keep plugging and be at the right place at the right time.

AFL, Arena League?

I was stunned a few years back when Martin was drafted by the Lions. He didn't even rank that high nationally. Hopefully Matics can get a few tryouts and impress somebody. Most of those guys are about on the same level. Probably comes down to who can kick under pressure.

Wait until after the spring off-season camps. A couple of kickers, who we assume have safe jobs, will be off the mark, prompting coaches to bring in some competition for the summer.
