Now that this is a matter of public record it's time to post it.

OL Tobias Edge Campbell has been suspended from the team after he was arrested on July 28th and charged with larceny by an employee according to a local law enforcment citation. He was issued a $2,500 secured bond and a Sept. 7 court date. From the team, they are going to let the process play out and his future will be accessed after his court case is completed. This is as in depth as it needs to be and we should do the same on here and let the case go through the process as far as the young man is concerned.

As for the program and it's effect, Parker Collins is now snapping with the 1's and this is one reason Tyson Fernandez is playing both sides of the ball right now. Several players are also snapping the ball for us to set backups. If there is anything that could be considered good in this bad situation it is the fact that it happened at the start of camp, we've had other upperclassmen snapping for us since spring, the freshmen are here now and are getting some center reps as well, and we have the entire period for everyone to get practice in at different positions. No doubt this does hurt as the OL is the one position where we don't need to lose anyone else but Coach Clark and the rest of the staff will do what needs to be done to get us ready.

That explains why Satt was raving about TEC's improvement at Sun Belt Media Day, then didn't mention him at App State Media Day.

What an idiot. I mean free school and about to get "full cost of attendance " aka paid. Get out of here man.

Ugh. Get a DUI? it's a part of growing up. Pot? okay, I'm old and that's what the youngins are doing these days. Get in a fight? some folks like to draw the wrath of football players for the fun of it. But to steal from someone? Dammit. Sorry. That's strike one, two and three.

Yuk, getting tired of this kind of news. And you just know there's and injury or two to come. Getting thin.

All programs seem to lose one or two to something like this. Tenn. lost a WR. Miami, I read recently, lost a big impact guy. It happens with college students. They are not quite grown ups yet. Next man up.

So I go look at the arrest report and see Montez McGuire gets arrested for failure to appear.....I looked twice just to make sure I wasn't halucinating. Court date August 23. Guess I'm going to have to start looking at this in addition to the obits!

Knew about that too but he's not on the team anymore. He eligibility was done last year so I didn't figure it was something to put on the board. Hope he gets it together as well.

Was he the projected stater?

What does our depth chart project at now for O line? Is Fernandez likely to play mostly on offense now?

Charged, not convicted. Usually being charged means there's enough evidence to suggest it actually happened, but it's not definitive. Also, I've known several people that used to shoplift or steal in their high school and college days that turned out alright, so I'm not ready to lynch him just yet. Only crimes that don't get a 2nd chance in my opinion are murder and crimes against women or children.

Tyson has made light-year leaps in his strength and conditioning since he got here. I projected Tyson as being drafted by a 3-4 defense team. I hope this doesn't hurt those changes. I love this guys attitude!!!!

Just knowing the nature of criminal defense strategy, it will likely be well into the season or after before he sees his case resolved, even if it's dismissed.

I don't think we need to label this young man - I'm sure the consequences weigh much heavier on him than any one else --- As most on here know I am an old-head - During my life I have strived to a be a good husband, a good father, a good man --- Let me just say I did some stupid shit in high school/college (it was the 60s) and luckily never got caught - Disclaimer...never hurt a woman or a child - never did drugs ---

Got to figure if he has a clean record he will get probably unsupervised probation, a fine and some community service. If it gets pushed out which it probably will his chances of playing don't look promising. Of course playing football is completely secondary to life implications

And let me add - (as some of you guys know) - during that time if you got kicked out of college the loss of a scholarship or free education didn't make much difference - Your butt was on The Vietnam Express !!!
