A new week, a new challenge for our team. It's the WHEEEEE... Let's keep the JUG!

Looks like Mostly cloudy to cloudy skies will be the rule. Cold front will be pushing through NC and "Sandy" may feed some extra moisture far enough west to elevate the shower potential. I would note, if the boundary slips through ahead of expectations, the rain chance will drop once we are on the back side of the system

In short, take the rain gear, high quality APPItude of supporting our team and let's kick some Western butt. A Western win can sooth the soul!

GO MOUNTAINEERS!

Up here in the Mid-Atlantic, everything I'm reading boils down to it's either going to be DOOM! or nothing.

Also, I read one of the DOOM! scenarios that said west of the I-95 corridor into the Appalachians would get heavy, wet snow. How likely is that? 'Cause that's some football weather for ya. :D

Could be ugly. Lots of wiggle room right now on Sandy. But, this may be the ugliest storm since the perfect storm back in OCT of 1991...

That's exactly what I read earlier! Crazy stuff, if it happens.

Hey Jen, we're at North Mrytle Beach (Ocean Drive) this week as I continue to recuperate from my "ticker" surgery. As of 8:20 this evening, we're nearing high tide and the waves are getting tall and angry! Tomorrow and Saturday should be pretty interesting. We're off tomorrow to drive north to Ft. Fisher on the Cape Fear Inlet. That could get a little wild on Sat. Looks like Jersey, PA and NY are in for a double whammy hit. Stay safe!

Yup, they're predicting all sorts of crazy scenarios up here. Who knows what will happen. I'm guessing lots of rain here as we're not that far west. Soooo much fun. Then again, we lucked out with a very mild winter last year so it's probably time to get back to NEPA's usual. :)

You stay safe too and get some good R&R on that ticker!
