Interesting, thanks for posting this. Their D is not nearly as big, physically, as Clemson was. I like the size matchups with our WRs and their db's.

No doubt going to be hard to stop Hurd, but I feel like we can move the ball on their D.

Statistically in most categories between common opponents last year... Tennessee and Clemson aren't that far apart on the defensive end.

Just to serve as a reminder, App has not scored more than 14 points in one of these games since 2009 at ECU.

Tennessee has more returning starters and a new DC. However Venables at Clemson is one of the best in the biz. We really need to gain first downs and hit a houdini play or two in this one.

We do not know what our defense will do under Shoop, but his track record is that of fielding a statistical top 25 defense every year for the past 5 years I believe at Vanderbilt and Penn State. We are hopeful, at least.

I don't think Tennesee should be placed in the same categories of "these games" with ECU.

At the time ECU went on to win the CUSA and we were on lower scholarships. It was more or less meant as the last time we've scored like that in our "game."

Also we made the comeback at eventual CUSA Champions ECU with Cadet basically running the WildCadet for the fourth quarter.
