WAKE UP!! Why are you still sleeping!!
As I type this it's 11:30 am where I am (east Africa) Thursday which means it's GAMEDAY where I'm at!
After 2 years in the Philippines with no AFN, and now here, I'm relying on the WatchESPN app to watch games and your posts for info... I can't wait for some football. I haven't been this excited for a season to start since 2007
I wish I could express in words my anticipation. GO APPS!

For those who may not know this, I have Sling TV for 19.95 and I looked last night and for $5 extra you get the sports package that offers the SEC network, I was excited to see this. Along with the SEC network there are a few other sports channels, definitely worth the price since I cut my cable back a year or so ago.

Man, I made the mistake of watching 2015 Tennessee Football in 60 minutes on the SEC Network last night. Now I have my hopes up. People have compared this Tennessee team to last year's Clemson team and that is not what I saw at all. Tennessee's defense is not reflective of a top 10 team defense. Bad Kentucky, SC and Vanderbilt teams all put up over 20 points on Tennessee and those were not garbage points. Their offense was very good, though and had the making of a top 10 team offense. They have big time playmakers at all the skill positions. If App's D can play at the level of last year's defense without a drop off after losing Blair and Gibbs, then we might have a shot, but that is a lot to ask for. I don't think we get rattled this year and will surprise a lot of people.

I did the same thing yesterday. ESPNNews and ESPNU, as well as Goal Line and Buzzerbeater are part of the add on.

It happens every year. The season ends and into the doldrums I go. Spring arrives and brings forth new life, except on the gridiron, another couple months to go. Summer comes about and the updates start trickling in. I feel the excitement of the upcoming football season, but it's still too far away for my liking. One week until game day, I feel the excitement building as I constantly scan Yosef's Cabin for updates, anything to satiate my hunger for App Football. And then the day before the game I'm bouncing off the walls like an App student snowed in and only able to watch gsu programming. The night before game day I drift off to sleep with the sound of Hi-Hi-Yikas, the raucous App State crowd, and the touchdown boom-stick resonating in my ears. I might as well call in sick on game day, my boss and I both know nothing will get accomplished, except me converting a couple co-workers to App State fandom. As the hours tick off to 7:30 my palms get sweaty, my heart starts skipping beats, I'll probably burn a couple burgers from over excitement but I don't care because ladies and gentlemen, App State Football is BACK!!!!

Welcome Back Football. I heard Kenny Chesney's "Boys of Fall" on the way to work and wanted to get out of my car and tackle anything orange. Decided to spare the traffic barrels for now, but if we pull off the win, they are going down.
Go APP !!!!!!!!

UT by 27? Was that your University of Toledo (UT?) win prediction over your stAte? You were close troll, but Toledo only beat you all by 21 (31-10) last night. Happy Labor Day.
