Saw something online that Satterfield thinks about 34-35,000 will be allowed for Saturday, was really hoping to get close to 40,000 inside the Rock. Anyone have any predictions for attendance on Saturday?

I'm predicting that the fire marshal has a heart attack.

40,000 isn't possible for a football game with the current setup.

Yeah, 40k not going to happen. There's simply not enough space to put that many people. Someone posted on a message board the fire marshal was going to cap us at 38k, but that's message board material. #GrainOfSalt

If you listen to the Black and Gold podcast DG doesn't guess the number of students at the field level near the South EZ and no mention yet of the number of premium seats at field level. So I wonder how many they plan on fitting in.
If we take the 32k we had for the current record, add 2,500 for endzone bleachers we are almost at 35k. Maybe we can add 1-2k for field level and extra sardine packing? Maybe we get to 37,500?

How will that field level work? Are people going to sit/stand in that back section of the end zone?

The AD's news release said SRO for field-level, south end zone. Methinks 37,500 is possible.

Whatever the number, Saturday wont be the day to go cheap on your protective underwear, splurge and go with the Depends, the bathroom lines are going to be brutal.

I just graduated this past May so the biggest game I have been at was the Montana game my freshmen year in 2012. Another question, does anything have a guess on how much it will be to park in private lots? I know it is usually around 15-20 bucks but since its a big game I didn't know if prices would go up.

Yeah, 40k would be awesome if we could support it but we can't. It's not just about how many bodies we can cram in; it's about concessions, restrooms, ingress/egress, etc. I'm sure we're already going to exceed the limits of what we can handle in some or all of these areas.

Most fun I had was the Halloween vs Wofford game in '08. This should be more exciting, but can only imagine if this was a night game...

I have to think anyone enterprising enough to charge for parking is going to take the opportunity to raise prices for this one. Couldn't make an educated guess on price, but I'd get there early!

Over 35,000 would be insane by admin. 31500 record plus end zone seating will be absolutely busting at the seams. People were miserable on hill, etc for Elon 10, wofford 08 and Furman 05 before east. On the field has been done with attendance records already, but has to be limited to 500-1000. You can only stand 5 or so rows deep and see anything at all. 100 people wide, 5 deep?

I'm going with Rugby Tennessee's zip code of 37,733 because we are going to give the canes the "scrum" of their lives on Saturday.

So how will you put 117 portable Johnnie houses in KBS and not show up on national TV?
