Big game today.

Just thinking about uniform trends in college baseball…seeing a lot of “powder” colors, like light blue Ole Miss, light purple for ECU. Not sure a light gold would look any good but….
How about a cream off white and gold?! That would look so clean. A ton of teams are going throwback to cream soft white uni’s.

How about our starting pitching this weekend!? All 3 outings were excellent.

Great all around series in my opinion. Got guys at bats 5-9 (figuring out back half of lineup), arms getting extended and throwing well.
Long bus ride home and quick turnaround to see Pollard at Duke on Tuesday. Rest up men, heck of a weekend!

8-1 final. Pitching was outstanding this weekend. Chirico had a no no thru 5 today.

Win every series and it's a fantastic season. Obviously 2 of 3 every weekend is a monumental task but who knows?

Time will tell, and that may not be a this year result. Really a good series on the bump though. We’ve got to remember that 2 of our Weekend guys were relievers last year so maybe they are just working up stamina and learning how to extend innings.
Its difficult to go from a max effort guy for 15-20 pitches to a starting role, (80-100 pitches) but Steensma and even Chirico seem to be taking on the transition rather nicely.

9-2 is a great position to be in and I think the bats are starting to get comfortable.
