I hope the tournament always stays double elimination...gives underdogs a chance from time to time. The kids are out of school....all they are going to do is take a couple weeks off and then hit the summer leagues potentially playing 2 to 5 games a week.At least this gets TV coverage even if only ESPN+

Pretty sure the starting outfield is gone. Most of the slugging has to be replaced. A handful of pitchers are gone. At least half the infield are likely gone.

Wilder, Tolley, CJ Boyd, Moronta, & Holderbach are gone. Good chance St Laurent is gone. Chirico, Wilson, Laspaluto,Tut, Tujetsch,Welch & Sleeper for sure. Plus, we'll have to find some NIL to have any chance of keeping Steensma.

Upgrade the schedule. Find a pitcher. Exciting team with a very good coach. We stuck with Kermit I feel like he’ll stay with us. Overall good year. I’ m hopeful for the future.
The non-conference schedule is tricky to balance. Last year we went with one of the toughest schedules we've ever had and people said it was too much. This year people are saying we didn't schedule hard enough.
When will "It's better than what we had" no longer be good enough for App State?

Need a P5 series regardless. 1. It helps the RPI OOC. 2. It’s an absolute blast for the players/team to travel and play in a big stadium/great environment. 3. We can shock the world.

Pollard wins ACC again. Only a matter of time until an SEC program makes him an offer he can’t resist.
(South Carolina?)
Also, Josh Jordan at LSU still windmilling kids home from 3rd.

We’ve got a good one in Kermit and he loves App. Heck of a guy too.

Team has come a long way from Jones that set us back years (thanks again Cobb for that BS extension on your way out).
A few more pieces needed (mainly arms/lefties).

Congrats on the season guys!
If by a few more pieces you meant replacing the entire offensive core and a good portion of the pitching, then I agree with you.

Yep, got Drew and Banks so it can be done. Team couldn’t hit 40 hrs a few years ago.

Including the players on this team, the team will have to replace much talent from the last two years. It will be an interesting off-season to see if we can recruit some JC talent or guys in portal from 4 year universities.
Hopefully, the young guys still on team will progress and get better as well
