Similar to last year it seems. Bats will keep it interesting. Will be a lot of back and forth.

Wonder why no Brooks yet? Xuereb is hurt on the offensive side of the plate.

It's the start of the season and we're playing a solid team on the road. Take the ugly W and series win anyway you can get it.
When will "It's better than what we had" no longer be good enough for App State?

Last year we had to win several games by football scores. Might be a repeat. Just win every series and that's close to 40 wins.

3 games in. Some good and some bad. Team has 13 games to figure it out before the real season starts.

But in the Sun Belt, not losing many of those 13 games could be helpful toward an at large.

High Point, the weekday opponent, went 1-3 versus UMass-Lowell.

Siene, the Hickory opponent, got waxed at Longwood in all three games.

Not winning all four over the next week would be disappointing. Especially since ETSU and Southern Illinois both looked very impressive this weekend.

10-3 going to Texas State would be very ideal.

You and these at large bids :). Let's let them work toward a top 5 seed for the SBC first.

Agree here. I’d take our 3 weekend guys vs whoever Siena has. Assuming Laspaluto gets the midweek start or Beaty. Rack up the wins before conference play. Bats will help our young arms out.

While I agree that on paper sienna isn’t the best each series is different. Hell each game is different. I just think we need to temper the expectations of a at large bid after three games. Interested to see what #2 and #3 SP’s do this week.

Beat High Point. I believe this one is on ESPN+! Excited to actually be able to watch and hope to see some gold/black in the stands.

You gotta love getting 3 outs with 5 pitches. App up 5-0 heading to the top of the 6th.

I wonder if Lucas Glover is related to Lucas Glover.

It’s 5-1 good guys going into the top of the eighth.
