Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
I’m sorry, but I am trying to understand how the 7th place team in the conference is even in debate for an at large in the NCAA tournament. I’m not saying that App deserves to be in the conversation but if we aren’t having the conversation without teams 3-6 then it seems odd.

Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
They went 17-7 with the #3 non conference schedule in the nation. For comparison, we went 15-6 against the #222 schedule.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 12:38 pmI’m sorry, but I am trying to understand how the 7th place team in the conference is even in debate for an at large in the NCAA tournament. I do understand that. But, they did finish 7th in the conference and went 1-2 in the conference tournament. I would think how they finished out the year would play into that. I guess we'll see.appvette wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 12:44 pmThey went 17-7 with the #3 non conference schedule in the nation. They still finished 7th in the league.appvette wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 12:44 pmThey went 17-7 with the #3 non conference schedule in the nation. Been screaming screaming this. 7th place conference finish, and you get an at large. No way, not in my book.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 12:38 pmI’m sorry, but I am trying to understand how the 7th place team in the conference is even in debate for an at large in the NCAA tournament. Either way, glad we were the ones to send them home.
Keep it going!

Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
I had to leave after the 7th and was really worried that my leaving the broadcast would be the jinx, fortunately it worked out and I don't need to apologize to all App State fans.

Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
2 big questions and I think I know the easy answer being that we are App State!
Who do we start tomorrow?
Who do we want to play between USM/Troy?
My answer: Anyone, any time, any place. The App State way.

SOS of 31 per broadcast....and the name of CCU due past natty IMO. We beat them 3 of 4 times I believe this year if memory serves me right..appstate24 wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2024 12:56 pmBeen screaming screaming this. 7th place conference finish, and you get an at large. Re: 2024 Baseball Mega Thread
No, because we got the lead in the 7th when I was watching. I only missed the 8 and 9. I think it means that I can watch the first 7 innings and if we are winning then I need to turn it off. But I am thinking about giving Jobu a shot of rum to ward of any hexes.
