One more year would be good but for many reasons, I think, not something we can/should do. Baseball can be successful at APP. Too many have succeeded before going back past Pollard to Lovrich and before. We know what we have in Smith and I see some improvement. Let’s stay the course and give him 3 more years.

Why is it every big home weekend we get dumpy weather!? That's Boone for ya. Hopefully it will clear up. Based off the WC, looks like it might clear out by 6-7pm. Maybe delay it an hour to 7pm first pitch.
Play 2 tomorrow because Sunday looks iffy too, who knows. I think SBC should switch to Th, Fr, Sat series to give an extra day of fluff for rainouts/cancellations/travel. Too many cancelled games, that's 3 this year already.

A chaotic win against a good team. 127 RPI. The dropped balls in the outfield were infuriating but it’s better to win ugly than lose cleanly.

Baseball is crazy. Looked at a few scores and some of the team's different results in the Belt. There have been series with 2 blowout wins followed by a loss for a top team versus a bottom feeder. Coastal is (I believe) top 10 ranked with wins over Campbell and NC but with 6 conference losses as well. By no means should we look past today but we are still in the hunt to finish very high in the conference.
It's all going to come down to weekend play. The winner of it all will have to muster up clutch pitching by those 3rd and 4th starters along with the bullpen. Go get them today boys.
