Wow. Almost blew it with a 4 run lead with 2 out in the 9th. Great win though.

Can't understate how big that win was for the Apps. Got 2 chances to win their first series in the new regime.

No doubt, early on, there is improvement (overall).

Whether you win by one run or 9, a win is a win! Our staff has pitched pretty efficiently over the last three games. Other than the 9th inning in the last two games they have been solid.

Forgive me, but I usually do not follow baseball much. Didn't I read somewhere on here that our starting pitching is good but the closers are the ones that need work. While the last out was hard to get tonight, I feel the closer did well to comeback and end it with a strikeout.

Now 4-1 with two outs in the top of the 9th.

Now 5-1 and still batting in the top of the 9th.
