At the end of the day, College Baseball is just as much a business as it is a sport. As is the case with all business, at the end the day opinions and the bottom line is all that matters. As some say, it is what it is.

we are competitive almost every game until we have 1 bad inning that puts us too far behind to recover. In the games we don't have that 1 bad inning, seems like we can't get our bats going and get shut out. Seems so close yet so far away

That "one inning syndrome" is something that is very difficult to find out Why? How? What to do? - One season my team had a "bad case" and I tried several things and nothing seemed to work. I called a couple of college coach friends and they had experienced similar situations but had no real solutions, other than trying to keep your team focused, slow them down and remain positive (even though all of us knew what was coming) :?

Villaman isn't close to 295, trust me, I know the kid. He's a hard throwing lefty that might, might be 6' 4", but he's not even close to weighing 295 pounds.

Up 7-4 going into the ninth Saturday and blew it. Painful to watch our reliever try to throw a strike , but we stayed with him. Sunday ,their momentum continued and we got got pounded.

Beginning to think we dropped wrong sports. Soccer and track always competitive. The Miami series should be ver humbling.
