That is a good list, I would have Crash Davis a lot higher, probably #2 right after Hobbs. I mean, the guy is the all time minor league home run record holder. That alone should make him higher than 8, not to mention his cliche mastery and ability to cause a rain out to bust a losing streak. The more I think about it, he may be the best.

Loved Bad News Bears as a kid. Little League kids top out at 12 so the obviously 17 year old Kelly Leak (rides in on a trail bike then drives the van to Houston) didn’t quite make it realistically but a great movie just the same.
