4 good innings from DeRito and only gave up 1 run. Ethan Wilson pitched a scoreless 8th. 3-2 good guys in the bottom of the 8th. Need some insurance.

Thought about this earlier.
Moquin Luft and Evans all started in the outfield last year.
This year we go Soul DuPont and Mummau.
I’m wondering if we did this to add speed on the basepaths. We’ve never really had speed.
Luft and Moq a tad slow. Evans can fly but is his bat as good as the other 3?
I miss us having speed on the bath paths. If all is equal at the plate, give the nod to
the guys that potentially can steal 2nd and 3rd. All 6 of those guys will get PT though.

We’re doing a disservice to our student athletes by not playing a big time team early on in the year. There was nothing better than going on the road and beating LSU in a series with your brothers.
