Re: App at Dartmouth
They do not have athletic scholarships, none of the Ivey league schools do. They try to find creative ways to get the kids they want on campus, grants, work study, etc. My daughter graduated from Dartmouth in 11, really wanted to take her to this game but just didn't work out.Bigdaddyg1 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 16, 2025 5:28 pmJust checking but does Dartmouth have athletic scholarships? Certainly no NIL. Any win is good but damn.

Re: App at Dartmouth
Good win, our best to date.
Dodd’s performance stood out. Scored multiple times off both left and right hands. Got a breather or two from his point guard duties. Seemed to help. Might have been his best performance to date for App.
Banks had a sneaky-good performance. We’re going to need good play from him going forward, especially on those nights when Jennings can’t get his shots to fall. Speaking of Jennings, he’s a load to handle for anybody’s defense.
Moodie and Marcus Jr. (early foul trouble) were no-shows. Not sure what was going on but it was clear they weren’t up to par and Kerns limited their minutes. Fortunately, Wilson was brilliant in the paint.
Clarke and Tot are getting valuable minutes. They both had a couple of defensive lapses but both are quality second-line players, especially on defense, and they make us deeper than in years past. Just wish we could see more minutes for Brim (who didn’t play Sunday).
Njock is quietly having a good rookie season. Knows his role. Doesn’t try to do too much. Brings energy and makes a lot of hustle plays.
15 of 21 from the line (73.3 percent)!
Bring on Charlotte.

Re: App at Dartmouth
Since most of this squad is new, we’re watching the growing pains and expected ups and downs as individual players figure out where they fit in the scheme and chemistry starts building.

Re: App at Dartmouth
I totally agree. I thought they played with a lot poise and like a team. A little bit fouling down the stretch allowed Dartmouth to keep the score relatively close. Got to learn how to get the ball against the press but overall it was a step in the right direction. Looking forward to Charlotte game on Friday.AppGrad78 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 17, 2025 8:29 amGood win, our best to date.
