NCAA has us at 25-5. Being regular season champions I would hope that would be good enough. I do wish we would stop the non-D1 games but I know why we do it.
They attacked our one big weak spot and out scored us by 8 during that time. The rest of the game we outscored them by 6, but it was just too much of a hole.
I am 100% on board with you. The NCAA tourney would have been icing on the cake, but fan interest was up, students are going to games (students are going to games!), and this team won a bunch of games where previous teams would have folded.
Anyone that says it's a wasted season is just showing how dumb they are. Not a single #1 has survived so far this year. We're the first SBC #1 to win a game in four years.
Did we play possum? We were also out rebounded by 8. Normally, we have a six rebound advantage on the glass. Maybe that’s it. It was the Donte Minter App team that made a little post season run.
