Must have gotten some type of waiver. His first year was 2017. Played 6 years. Hahaha. Older than Chase Brice!

Re: 2023-24 Roster Breakdown & Wishlist
Did Donovan throw a strike for the opening pitch?!
6 returning scholarship guys in this photo. No Teasett in the photo.
3 incoming scholarship guys for a total of 9 accounted for so far.
Does anyone know the maximum allowed? Is it still 13 total?

Was committed to George Mason, but decommitted during their coaching change.

Re: 2023-24 Roster Breakdown & Wishlist
"He’s shown some improvements as a three-point shooter, but has still clearly maintained his identity as a tough, rugged, athletic downhill lead guard with the ability to fill it up offensively. Marsh is excellent at getting downhill, attacking the teeth of the defense, and applying pressure at the rim."
Looks like a fit to Kerns and co look for. Athletic guards who play hard and can defend.
Perimeter shooting does not seem to be his strength, we are becoming an anti 3 point shooting team at this point
Still have 4 scholarships remaining, probably need another wing addition and a score first offensively gifted type of player.
Updated to reflect this news and the Boykin news as well

Good work. Are we allowed 13 or 14 scholarships? Right now we have 10 spoken for based off the updated post. Looking forward to seeing the next one.

Don't forget Teasett too. Based off of photos on social media and roster online, he is still with the team. A team event was just posted today and he was in the photo!HurricaneYosef wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 9:53 amShould be 13 scholly's, I think I just miscounted at some point. Re: 2023-24 Roster Breakdown & Wishlist
Based on today's social media posts I'd say it's safe to say Teasett is returning. Feel like he would have been in portal by now if he had a desire to leave or if the staff wanted him off of the roster. Will update that and other returning players as offically returning
I'm glad Teasett is coming back, really hope he can break out next year his shooting numbers as a freshman for NW State were terrific

Re: 2023-24 Roster Breakdown & Wishlist
Looks like we got a Juco Transfer this morning. Listed at 6-6 so he would play 3-4 for Kerns. Would assume he plays small ball 4 with someone like Huntley at the 5. Not a 3 point shooter at all (18.8% from 3 last year), but he averaged almost 5 blocks and 11 rebounds per game.

The Dibaji walker role. Eerily similar players and that’s a good thing. Saw on his commitment post he is 6’8.AppHoops wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 8:39 amLooks like we got a Juco Transfer this morning. Good to know about 6-8. The random JuCo stat site let me down this time.311neers wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 9:46 amThe Dibaji walker role. Eerily similar players and that’s a good thing. Re: 2023-24 Roster Breakdown & Wishlist
If a basketball roster lists him at 6'8, he's probably actually 6'6 lol
I love this signing though, textbook Sun Belt kind of big man you want on your roster. Defends hard, blocks shots, and crashes the glass at a terrific rate. Desperately needed the post depth so this is a great addition imo.
Probably correct that he will eat up most Dibaji and also Pearsons minutes, but I wouldn't consider Dibaji and Spillers similar. Different skillsets
1 scholarship left, still feels like were waiting on a big time splash.

Re: 2023-24 Roster Breakdown & Wishlist
Mr. Spillers' Moberly CC frosh listing had him at 6-6; his soph roster listing had him at 6-7; and more than one NJCAA site had him at 6-8 by JuCo tourney time. So maybe he really is still growing and he'll be 6-9 when the new season tips in Nov.AppHoops wrote: ↑Fri Apr 21, 2023 10:05 amGood to know about 6-8. Re: 2023-24 Roster Breakdown & Wishlist
Knocking on a huge piece of wood but I feel like this offseason has been about a best case scenario. Kerns has been building this team around defensive effort and although this past season had it's ups and downs it was actually statistically the teams best defensive season under his tenure. Now we're returning the players most responsible for that and adding some players who seem to build on that. We've got guys at every position who are tough defensive matchups and although offense is still a big question mark I think in some ways we have more of a core to build on then this past season so that may be a bigger point of emphasis in the off season. FAU's jump into this season was far larger then App's would need to be in order to be a tournament caliber team.

Just booked my tickets to Omaha and Phoenix (final 4 2024).
