ASU stopped a two game losing streak tonight on the road at Furman with 66-52 win. The team was lead by Maryah Sydnor's 21 points. Katie Mallow had 15 and Anna Freeman chipped in 10.

This is a Furman team that lost to Chattanooga by 43 and Samford by 32. At this point of the season ASU has yet to defeat a team with a winning record and it's best RPI win is over #161 ETSU. ASU SOS stands at 303. One wonders where the team is at after the Davidson defeat and the tirade (some would say unhinged words) that Darcie provided in the postgame Saturday.

She's firey, but it's a win on the road and a stop to the losing streak.

Ladies will be ok once Raven Gary gets comfortable again after her injury. Michelle Taylor is a decent backup PG, but doesnt have enough offense in her game to play significant minutes. Really need Mallow to step up on the perimeter. That is the difference.

BTW, in other SoCon women's action on Monday Chattanooga lost at Elon and Davidson defeated Charleston. Davidson is undefeated in SoCon action. ASU, Elon, Charleston, Chattanooga, and Samford each have one loss.

Saw Elon defeat Woofie last night, they could give Darcie's girls a fit.
