Re: WBB OPENINGS
Nothing has changed on the web site or twitter. The DoBo is not listed anymore. The current ones contracts may have not run out yet and they may not be leaving on bad terms.
That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.

Re: WBB OPNINGS
From my admittedly limited contact with Coach Elderkin's program, I've heard only good things about Coaches Pierce and Centeno. I must also admit to being underwhelmed by our recruiting over the last two to five years. I guess I attributed it to Elderkin's health, but something else is going on under the WBB "tent." I stumbled upon the news of four incoming transfers earlier today; and after a brief search of the WBB Transfer Portal, I noticed that we have five players leaving by way of transfer. I'll leave you folks to form your own conclusions.
6-3 rising jr. Jackie Christ to Radford
6-2 rising sr. Haile McDonald to UMBC
5-7 r-frosh Bailey Trumm to WCU
6-0 Maya Calder grad transfer to ?
6-0 r-frosh Mackenzie Ashe-Smith to ?
Calder led this group in minutes played at 167. The other four ranged from 85 down to zero.

McDonald and Christ are not surprises, the others I don’t know much about. I am familiar with the transfer from UAB, she should help with rebounding.

She went to Ashbrook, yes?

Two freshmen who sat out the year and three vets who were playing single-digit minutes when they played at all.asu66 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 4:30 pmFrom my admittedly limited contact with Coach Elderkin's program, I've heard only good things about Coaches Pierce and Centeno. The conclusion I form is that this is par for the course in college athletics right now and doesn't say anything in particular about App's program.

Re: WBB OPENINGS
From the vacancy announcement, it appears that the plan is for Angel to make the selections sometime next week and have two new assistant coaches at work on or shortly after May 24.
