We pissed this game away for sure....
Why would anyone make this kind of comment in a one possession game???
Probably new to the basketball threads. That said, welcome to all the new commenters on each thread. Cool watching this thing grow. One or two brew people every game.

The announcers pointed out last night that our OOC SOS was like 33rd or so in the country due in part to playing at Duke and UNC. Replace those two games with Cupcake U and some Bible college and we are sitting at 13-7 (including losses to first place Iona and Vermont) and 5-2 SBC. For as shaky as we have looked at times that’s not too shabby. Unless I missed something every loss is to a team currently over .500.

We are evolving as a fanbase that we now get in-game over reactions, that's a positive to the apathy of the last decade.

Holy crap, I was listening to the game on the radio on the way home last night, but turned it off towards the end. I was going to turn on Tv and watch, but checked here first and based on the comments, thought we had already lost. Nice surprise to see we won!

Probably new to the basketball threads. That said, welding all the new commenters on each thread. Cool watching this thing grow. One or two brew people every game.
Reminds me of a Q1 thread during football season

I’ll take wild off the handle over reactions. It means even if people are unfamiliar with how this team plays they’re starting to care.

(Oh, and to the above quote from BambooRdApp, I meant to say welcome to, not welding 🤣)

As bad as we look sometimes...just gotta love the fight and grit Kearns has instilled in this program. We dont give up...just proud of these guys another great win!

I do think the combination of a very testy OOC schedule and the experience of this team are beginning to pay dividends. To be fair, last night we were fortunate to win given the nature of the last shot. But, its a win nonetheless and continues the momentum the team has shown lately.

I know we are on a win streak but the team play has greatly improved from the early season. While it still happens, we seem to be taking less of those desperation shots as the shot clock winds down. There seems to be better movement of the ball and some good play around the basket.

Quick question: What has happened to RJ Duhart? Seems like I remember him being pretty impactful during our tournament run last year. I was excited about his contributions this year, but haven’t really heard anything about him or from him this season.

Keep It Goin Boys!

GO APPS!!

Duhart has been dealing with a nagging injury all season. He was very impactful during the tournament run. His limited playing time has been due to injury and because Huntley has been playing really well. Huntley seems to have figured it out. As Kerns said, his lightbulb is fully lit and it's not going out any time soon.

Good win. Keep grinding it out and we may be back in the NCAA tournament again this year.
Would like to see Duhart and Brown both fully healthy and back.

Kerns .Well a little luck never hurts and I'll take it.As an aside , on their much reviewed 3 pointer near the end , the guy traveled.
For sure. He shuffled the left foot as he pulled the right foot back. You know the refs saw it when they replayed that shot 49 times trying to get a clear view of the line. They couldn’t correct that but they damn sure saw it. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a 3 point attempt be as inconclusive as that one was.
definitely a travel

Is a travel even reviewable? I know in college football certain occurrences are ruled out in a replay. If the refs are specifically reviewing where a shooter's foot was are they supposed to ignore other things? I mean if everything is reviewable they could just look at the replay and say "oh, the center off the ball fouled his defender before the shot was taken, waive it off entirely"
