If we Win the next 3 games (favored in all 3)

I will be interested to see where we are at that point. I doubt we would be close to ranked because the Sun Belt is rated so low. If we were a 2-3 bid league then I would expect it but we aren't and we still have the 3 bad early losses with Auburn losing their luster this week. I think we will have to win by more than the spread and we need Auburn and JMU both to rebound. I am curious to see if we pick up any votes after this JMU win but I will be pleasantly surprised if we gain more than 5-10. JMU was only getting one vote in one of the polls so it is not like this will be viewed as a big win anymore.

Having all 4 of our losses in quad 3/4 really hurts. Especially that quad 4 loss.

It’d be nice to get a vote but I doubt it. We just need to keep winning.

Exactly. We would be better off 20-1 with our only loss to Auburn than having the Auburn win and the awful losses. The good news for us is I don't think we are the same team by any means right now and would win a rematch. We are in great shape now but just have to rack up wins.

Likely no. Akron/JMU got the Sun Belt's lone guaranteed TV spot.

The NCAA has us at 15-4 as they consider all those non DI games as exhibition, regardless of what we consider them to be.

I think they generally do that for everyone.
We are about 6 spots below JMU in the NET ranking despite sweeping them. Oregon State is crawling out of the PAC12 cellar. That might help us a little.

They are treating us consistently but we are not really 17-4 in the eyes that matter. If we finish 27-4 that looks impressive and it is but we will be 25-4 in the eyes that matter. Still impressive but not as impressive.

I think all of the quad stuff is pointless at this point. We beat JMU and dropped in the NET and still below JMU. Just win the dang conference.

Getting media exposure helps too, but yes i mainly agree with bdg1 above, win the conference. Its our only true path.

Shout out to @Nor whoever you are. I grabbed your post for this thread but CBS CBB official found you and posted it 8 hours ago.

Were there any recruits at this game? I hope so. I did see on Facebook that David Coulson posted a picture of himself and Tom Apke at either the Coastal or GaSo game. I commented on the post and he mentioned that Apke was at the game as his grandson was being recruited by us.

We are getting top 25 votes. We are good enough to win the next ten, but I’m guessing we may stumble once or twice along the way. But suppose we do win the next 9-10 games. We’d be 27-4 after getting votes at 17-4. If we are in the top 25 heading into the tournament but lose in the championship to a 28-3 JMU (we won’t), you’d think it would be hard to leave us out
