I think that Shackleford was the amphibious one. Cozell McQueen was more of a geography major. He was from SC and when asked why he chose NC State, he replied that growing up, he always dreamed of playing ball up North.

I actually thought it was Cozell McQueen who made that quote (like a couple of others on here) but I see I was mistaken. I guess it's never too late to correct an error....only 40 years ago.
