If he stays that’s great news.

Re: Myles Tate
Man that would be awesome. He had an amazing season, but I feel like the lack of depth with guards was particularly painful down the stretch. As others mentioned if we'd kept Harcum for example this team would've opened up so much more offensively.
Regardless looking at next season, retaining your best player & one of the best in the Sunbelt would be a great start. God knows what happens with the transfer portal this season, but if we kept the guys not graduating it'd be a huge step up. Dodd looked really good in the second half of the season. I'm not sure if Beaubrun has more eligibility but him + Wilson/Marcus would be a really good core inside. Wilson should be in for a lot more time next season...

Re: Myles Tate
He would probably get offered 100k-200k by power programs so he would not stay but I don't think he has another year left. He did not play JUCO.

Re: Myles Tate
He played 3 years at Butler and 2 at App. No D2 or redshirt years. How could he have any eligibility left?

Re: Myles Tate
Myles was granted an extra year due to COVID. He never redshirted. However during his sophomore season, he spent nearly all season rehabbing a torn ACL from the prior season. He played in 9 games and only tallied 38 minutes. I would not be surprised if he is granted the medical redshirt for that year.
I hope he stays at App. However, I can totally understand him leaving for a big payday before presumably heading to Europe.

Re: Myles Tate
If he has a year to play , I would think he could have offers in the $100k range. Perhaps a bit more. Certainly would expect him to transfer if that’s the case.
