RIP: 2017
While every year we lose musicians and entertainers who somehow find their way into our memories and touch our lives, this year seems particularly tough for us 50-something geezers.
As the Righteous Brothers sang, " If there's a Rock-n-Roll Heaven, you know they got a helluva band."
RIP to the following and all the rest:
Chuck Berry
Malcolm Young
David Cassidy
Mel Tillis
J. Geils
Glen Campbell
Fats Domino
Tom Petty
Greg Allman
Walter Becker
Joni Sledge
Don Williams
Troy Gentry
Don Rickles
Mary Tyler Moore
Erin Moran
Robert Guilluame
Hugh Hefner
Jim Nabors
Monty Hall
Jerry Lewis
Chuck Barris
John Hurt
Adam West
Bill Paxton
Richard Hatch
Joseph Wapner
John Heard
Roger Moore
Della Reese
Frank DeFord
Dick Gregory
Jay Thomas
Y.A. Tittle
Ray Halladay
Dick Enberg

Lost my father back in November, hard working/family loving man, I'll always remember the good times we had together!

Re: RIP: 2017
It did seem to be a surprisingly big year when it came to notable passings.

Re: RIP: 2017
I saw a Soundgarden show this year about three weeks before his death. One of the greatest singing voiced ever.

George "The Animal" Steele, Superfly Jimmy Snuka, Ivan Koloff and Bobby "The Weasel" Heenan. All great ones of the former era and before I quit watching 'rasslin.
