I own a pit bull. Have three kids, youngest two being 2 and 8 months. My kids roll around with her, pull her hair, climb on her, and at no point was she ever a threat. It's all in how you raise them. My pit knew at a very young age, don't f*** with the kids. She really is the biggest pussy, even around non family members and other dogs. All in how you raise them

They are wonderful dogs to their owners, the owners' families, et. al. They are unpredictable with certain others especially toddlers and elderly people. Just a few weeks ago in Montgomery County, two pit bulls of which the owner said were "gentle as lambs," got loose from in the house and attacked an elderly lady (mid sixties) out for a walk and killed her.
