We played handball in PE during HS quite a bit, it was among our favorites as kids.

How on earth do you have a legit event where you are given a random horse to ride (and do stunts with) but said horse refuses to cooperate? This is an Olympic event?

Re: Olympic sports too brutal to watch
Apparently a number of people in the US have found the Olympics too brutal to watch this year. Viewership is down 40% + from Rio overall. Some due to streaming, some due to time differences, some due to people just not caring for one reason or another.
Give 'em hell!

This is brutal. They are trying to kill the Olympics and that's ok but why such a slow death. Just get it over.

Re: Olympic sports too brutal to watch
Every host country gets to add some events. I agree that breakdancing seems a bit odd having Japan be the host is likely the reason for baseball being in the Games for the first time since 2008. First not exhibition baseball medals were given in 1992.
Truthfully, breakdancing is likely more international than baseball, but it seems to be of a cultural event than athletics, though it is athletic.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.
