Okay guys. Its ok to fess up. How many kept Playboy "articles" in our dorm rooms either on the walls or tucked away somewhere so our mothers wouldnt see them on visits? (My roommate in Justice did!)

My dad had some in the basement. Hef caused a whole generation of men to have poor eyesight!

Mom: "if you don't stop that, you'll go blind!"

I preferred Penthouse, but appreciate HH for forging the way for others.

I found my dad's stash when I was a kid. So much bush. How did you guys even get off to a still image anyway?

There were "angels in the centerfold" up in most Newland rooms back in the day. No big deal. Just one example of our many contributions to campus art appreciation.

Imagination, before Hugh seeing an knee might have been enough, or a tight one piece swimsuit.

Just now getting time to post this.

As some may vaguely remember from DonorsChoose posts from a few years ago my last name is Hefner, and spelled the same way as Hugh.

(Never trust a double-f Hefner, by the way. :-) )

I have gotten my share of comments about any relations to Hugh. When he was married in the late 90s, I think it was, those comments all but stopped. After his divorce and he was back in action (as much as a man of his age could be "in the action") the jokes started back up. It was rather amazing how much he became a part of the American zeitgeist, that those comments to me were connected to his own social life.
