Costas was actually quoting from an article written by Jason Whitlock. Doesn't really change anything except to say that they are both morons.

I called them morons because they are blaming inanimate objects for the actions of people. Using their distorted logic, we must also blame forks and spoons for making people fat.

Costas quoted from the article that the two would still be alive if no hand gun was present/owned. I realize the rationale behind this statement but I don't think Costas or the writer are clairvoyant.

Lastly the entire commentary alludes to gun control which I am dead set against.

With or without a handgun, if he was going to kill his girlfriend, he would have found another way. I bet there were plenty of knives around the house for example.

Actually, yes. The so-called War on Drugs is a colossal MCF that has cost billions of dollars and yielded little result. Legalize drugs, regulate them and tax them. You generate revenue rather than throw money down a bottomless pit, you reduce the influence of organized crime in the distribution, and you stop making criminals of people who are not infringing upon the rights of anyone by simply using a drug.

Ya wonder why some of these anti gun folks in Hollywood have bodyguards that follow them around that are armed? Things that make ya go hummmmmmm...

Guns protect families/individuals from a crazed society. You will NEVER rid criminals from having guns, therefore, there is a need to own them for protection. Plus, the constitution says it.

Drugs destroy the human body. (I know, go ahead and list other things that can do the same...)

A line has to be drawn somewhere if not then the Liberals will take over the country making everything legal!...

Don't be fooled. True conservatives ARE libertarian. Essentially, let people do whatever they want as long as it doesn't impact others. It's not the TRUE conservatives who want to seize your property, tell you what you can eat, take your money and restrict your speech.
