After much soul-searching and feelings of guilt and after watching the courageous example of Lance Armstrong on Oprah I have decided to come clean:

Yes, I took performance-enhancing drugs while taping ankles during the 1975 football season.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you! Do you mean to tell us that the mid-70's were responsible for putting the "happy" in happy App-y? I can't imagine any college student from our generation ever doing anything other than being perfectly studious at all times. :lol:

If you consider Busch Bavarian performance enhancing then I was very guilty and spent a lot of time getting juiced at the Library Club and Antlers........

Ok, let's all come clean since Lance and scat man have started it. I took performance debilitating drugs before an intramural game in 1976. And I wasn't even playing in the frat league. No excuses.

Fall of '79. My personal trainer slipped me something that started with a q before the Western game. I was only watching, but I thought that I may have affected the outcome. There, I said it.

OK...might as well get this out there. They say confession is good for the soul.

I took performance-enhancing drugs once. Not during my playing days but three years ago. My girlfriend was VERY impressed. :oops: :lol:
