Hey HAPAPP are you watching the qualifier match in Denver? Crazy snow storm does not stop the match. USA 1 COSTA RICA 0.

Why did they schedule this game in DENVER? I know it's March... but, whether is pretty unpredictable in Boone in March... but, Denver seems a dumb location for a World Cup qualifier this time of year.

That's precisely why they scheduled the game in Denver. And agreed, nice to see a pro-USA crowd in our country for once.
Crazy conditions. Great win. 3 points.
Azteca on Tuesday.

If we have to play in 100-degree tropical weather with smog levels worse than LA, then they have to play in a blizzard. Fair is fair.

In Dayton at the NCAA tournament, got in to watch the last 35 minutes. Loved it!

Yep. The Mexicans wilted in 110 degree temps in Honduras yesterday. Got to use whatever advantage
you can.

This is changing the subject and the skill level *
just a little bit*

, but I played for the Apps in ankle deep snow and ankle deep water on the old baseball outfield across from Tony's Pizza Parlor (now Subway) and the bars along Blowing Rock Road. It looks like fun from your favorite recliner, but I can attest to the fact that it's hard on backs, knees and ankles; and it sure comes back to haunt in one's later years.

Above all loved the result, given all the rumors leading up to the game.
