I need your help. When trying to access the website on my phone I get an Error 406 message stating I have been blocked by Mod Security. How do I fix this? Thanks for your help.

I had a similar situation happen last week while traveling. It had to do with the wifi network I was on. Turned off wifi and connected through cellular. All was good then. Your situation could be different, but seems similar.

Traveling yesterday from CLT to Pulaski Ky we stopped and spent Nite outside of Knoxville in a Comfort Suites. Logged on their WiFi and then YC. Said I was permanently bannedand in fine print said IP address was blocked. Cut off WiFi and voila the ban was lifted!!!

I've been getting this message on my home desktop for the better part of a month now. I usually use Firefox and receive the 406 message when using that browser. Switch over to the Chrome browser (wife's preference) and no issues. Same computer, same network...don't understand it.

Same for me. Been several months, but just on phone..I just move to Edge and it opens.

I use Duckduck Go
Because I don't like being tracked and I get the error.

They are forcing me to use Chrome

I stopped using Firefox in March of 2019. Oh wait. We’re talking about internet browsers.

FWIW, I've noticed that YC/MMB gives me the "permanently banned" greeting anytime I attempt to log on when I'm running on a virtual private network. I use NordVPN almost 24x7, but I have to disconnect it to log on to YC. It's easily switchable.

Both FireFox and Opera have a "built-in" VPN. If their VPNs are active, YC will give you that "banned" greeting every time. Just make sure VPN isn't activated and these two browsers should work like a charm.

Well misery loves company. I’ve been getting that same message since AT&T installed fiber optic in our house. Turn off WiFi and log into YC.

If anyone has a solution that would be great. At my age I can’t always remember to turn WiFi back on!
