To AMC or not to AMC

To AMC or not to AMC

That is the question.

I have some AMC Ent. stock. I got in about a month ago. Do y'all think the short squeeze phenomena is real? or a bubble that has already reached its peak?

I say that, but I bought AMC at $11 and bitched out early... didn’t think it was real

$CLOV...better fundamentals, high squeeze potential, great price, and even if it doesn't squeeze it's a better long term investment than AMC.

With Chelsea Clinton on the BOD, I highly advise selling your position prior to $30. They can sell stakes when it reaches $30

Depends on what price you got in at. I am up over 600%, so I have plenty of room to bail if the bottom falls out. My son tells me this will eventually squeeze and shoot up like Gamestop. :D

AMC has 500 Million shares and supposedly 4 million shareholders, GME had a squeeze with 55 million share structure, there are a lot of guessing going on as to what Citadel is up to with shorting with naked short shares...at this point you cant go wrong by taking the profit being up that much, imo. Missed the gamma squeeze this past Friday finishing under $60 calls, hedges would have been forced to buy shares to cover. No guarantees that it'll squeeze, could still go to $100-125, got to get by the mid $70s first. I got out Friday, playing it safe.

The only thing I know is that if I sell now in the 50's, it will surely go to $120.

I see we have similar luck... usually if I buy, once "they" find out it goes down, and if I sell or don't buy and they find out, it goes up.

I heard some one say that Nancy Pelosi bought 28 million dollars worth of AMC a week or two ago, she's statistically the best investor in the world, just saying, maybe the politicians know something.

I seldom agree with AOC, but she's spot on that US elected officials and their families should be treated similar to investment professionals and insiders on individual stocks, i.e. restricted from trading.

Or make them fund managers that we could invest with. I'd pay Nancy P to invest my money.

I'd pay anyone that has the power to make the rules that create winners or losers by industry. To be clear she isn't a smart investor, she is cheating the system buying stock (options actually) and then driving legislation to hit on those options. And this is pervasive by both parties, sickening manipulation of power and greed.

100% agree. But just like term limits getting the violators to enact legislation to prevent ain't happening. Can't beat them, join them.

It is not her, it is her husband (same effect) who does the investing as he is a venture capitalist and consulting guy.
