They really miss Anderson in net. Raanta has played well, but he just isn’t ready to be a #1.

I hate Marchand. I’m not for taking a guy out, but I wouldn’t be upset if someone ended his career.

Just a wet mouse. He's not big enough to be a rat. But yeah, appsolutely despise him and the Bruins

My love for Black and Gold spawned my love for the Penguins of Pittsburgh! I'm concerned with Crosby out, the Pens may not have enough to get by the Rangers.

Re: Playoff Hockey
There WERE 3 things better....
1. Watching Appalachian win 1AA playoff games in Kidd Brewer.
2. The entire 2019 FB season minus one Thursday night game
3. Watching Zach Matics drill a 23 yard FG to win the 2015 Camelia Bowl

Re: Playoff Hockey
Tried to get seats for game 7. $155 a piece in the ends & nosebleeds, looks like its the ole man cave for our crew. Go Canes; obviously been good at home, but leaving it all up to 1 game is very risky

Re: Playoff Hockey
Will definitely not pull for the Bolts as they have been the team the Canes cannot beat playoff time. However, I have to give their fans props for showing up in force for regular season games. I was in Tampa for business a few months ago. We attended the Tampa/Phoenix Coyotes (whatever they are called)..one of the worse teams in hockey and on a weekday day night. The arena was packed and loud....

It is one of the best environments in all of hockey. Smashville is a close second.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Fri May 13, 2022 11:57 amWill definitely not pull for the Bolts as they have been the team the Canes cannot beat playoff time. Re: Playoff Hockey
I’ve seen a ton of games in Raleigh. The loudest that building has ever been was when the Canes beat the Caps in 2019, followed extremely closely by the final goal in the 2006 finals. I expect tomorrow to rival both, if it’s close at the end. And I will be there right in the thick of it.
Give 'em hell!

2006 Stanley Cup run was awesome. The firm I was with had a suite. We got every 3rd game. It was like a college football atmosphere before the games with tailgating, etc.

Re: Playoff Hockey
I recall watching the NBC broadcast on DVR and the announcers couldn’t stop talking about how good the fans were and how it was so similar to a college football game in those regards.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Fri May 13, 2022 7:36 pm2006 Stanley Cup run was awesome. I missed one game of those entire playoffs-for my wedding reception. Drove from Wilkesboro to Raleigh and back for every one of them. I struggled, but wouldn’t trade the memories.
