Another quick point I’d like to make about soccer. A lot of folks say soccer is “boring” because it’s low scoring. However, American football is also relatively low scoring, they just arbitrarily award 6 points for a touchdown. For instance, I’d teams only got 1 point for a TD, yesterday’s App- ODU game would’ve been 4-2. That’s… kind of a soccer score.
To your point, if you were to time how long a baseball and football are in actual play during a game, many would be surprised to know that they are close to the same amount.

I never had an interest in soccer until my son started playing in middle school.
Quickly learned it is a VERY different game when you're watching it live. far more interesting.

It's interesting when your fraternity gets notified of an intramural game and there is a party going on. Not an easy game to play after a few beers.

Todd your concerns are valid. We have a lot of players that play for the top level clubs in various organizations, but none are top players there.

You can use the term butthurt all day, but you are the one wasting time discussing a subject you don’t like. Sad.

We get it you are bored today, move along or continue pissing in cheerios, your choice….

I’ll enjoy watching and cheering for my nation.
Good sir, my original post was not directed at you in any way shape or form. You were not a part of it. You made yourself involved. You got butthurt and started crying at those you blamed. It's incredible. You started something and made a mountain out of nothing and still try to blame the other person for your hurts feelings. I don't consider it wasting time. I'm not sure why you do. Maybe you are projecting your own feelings about your own situation as I never said posting here was a waste of time. The sad deflections from you just show that you really do understand that you are the cause for this back and forth conversation but your pride won't let you admit that you are just butthurt and move on. It's all good dude. You will have another sad reply to mine and probably others. Maybe you should stop eating urine covered Cheerios? I'll bow out and you can believe whatever you need to, to make yourself feel better.

England already up 3-0 on Iran and not even half yet. I predicted england would win 3-0. I'll not be upset if England doubles that.

England is looking on point today. Iran is in way over their heads.

Did you see how the Iranian national team refused to sing their national anthem because of what their government is doing to people protesting Islamic law? Those men could lose a lot more than a soccer match today.

I did. They have a lot on their mind. Losing their goalie to start the game didn't help either.

Did you see the Ecuador fans chanting "we want beer" yesterday. Budweiser must love being a title sponsor to an event that refuses to serve alcohol.

A friend of mine worked for years over there with a construction company. He told me many stories of how crazy it is regarding alcohol. He said many times they had to pay off officials to get his men out of trouble.
