This is a real long shot but if you live near Decatur Alabama and like live music I have a gift for you. I bought 2 tickets to see Charlie Starr and Benji Shanks at the Princess Theatre on Friday night. Funny, stupid story. I saw the same show Sunday night in Charlotte and was blown away so I wanted to see it again. Saw the Friday night show in Decatur and immediately thought it was in Georgia. I was willing to drive 4 hours to see the show so I bought tickets and then realized it was Alabama and that’s too far. The tickets are paper and at the will call. Just in case you don’t recognize the names, Charlie Starr is the lead man for Blackberry Smoke. Benji Shanks is one of his friends and a pretty much unknown but awesome guitar player. It’s just those two guys but it’s one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. If you even remotely like live music of any kind and can make the show please take the tickets. You will be blown away.
