The man I studied and idolized, tried my best to emulate on the field . He was "football" to that kid , always will be.Rest in peace Legend.

I recall him catching a hail mary PAT from Bobby Douglass to beat the Skins way back , so yes , very fitting.

Mike Curtis was nasty - but I tell you was more intimidating that Butkus - probably before many of you guys time - Chuck Bednarik - Eagles - and he played both ways ---
