Allied invasion at Normandy Beach.....D-Day. My Dad was there. He would be 102 years old today if he were still living.

One of the best experiences of my life was going to Bedford, Va. to the D-Day Memorial on June 6, 2010. They had 10 or 12 D-Day survivors there that day. To meet and talk to those guys was something I'll never forget. I'd say most of them are gone now, but I'm thankful that I got to see them and introduce my son to them. They don't make 'em like that anymore.
