Karma is a b....

Costa Rica is putting it to the U.S. in a WC qualifier, scoring 2 goals in the first 10 minutes. Thus far it looks like payback for the "Snow Bowl" U.S. win is underway.

Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley are not playing which should have been a good sign of what was to come. Bradley was injured in warmups.

Dempsey with the PK...I feel it's ok to cheer for him since his wife is a Mountaineer. He's still a dirty Furple, though.
Give 'em hell!

During the Snow Classico, the ref asked the Ticos to stop the game AND THEY DECLINED. They only complained after the game, which they lost.

This isn't karma, this is a result of no Bradley due to that freak injury right before the game started.

I would agree, our chances diminished greatly when that happened. No doubt, it had to have some psychological affect on the team as well. Without, Bradley we really struggled in the midfield.

With Mexico coming up Tuesday we are going to be missing Altidore, Cameron, and Besler. I would also assume Bradley. Not quite sure what to expect from Mexico who lost last night as well. They will certainly be hungry for a win to stay in contention for a spot in the WC. It's amazing how quickly one's fortunes can change. We should still be in good shape but we are not in as comfortable position as we were.
