While I love PNC Park, this list surprised me a little... The Pirates have been around sine 1887 - think about it. Teddy Rosevelt, Woodrow Wilson and 50% of the guys who became president had not been elected by 1887. So, I expected harder decisions (some what like the Reds). But, here lays the foundation known as Pirate Baseball. While there are some great names in Pirates history (Clemente is easily one of the Top ten players all-time), they be far and between... Going back to 1899 to find the "Best Pirate 3B" should tell you something. Roberto, Pop Stargell, Wagner, Bonds (early), McClutch - it gets slim quick from here... No pitcher since 1965??
I do have to admit, I would have loved to see the submariner Tekulve on this list.
